Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts Feud Claim

The National Enquirer posted photos of what it claims to be an “epic on-set confrontation” between the “GMA” co-hosts and one of the morning program’s producers. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “The exchange went on, complete with finger-pointing, for close to four minutes before they went back to their chairs.” The problem, alleges the outlet, is that Roberts feels Strahan has been stealing her spotlight since joining the show last year.
As for the supposed on-set spat, the tabloid’s dubious insider goes on to purport that the former NFL star had to be “escorted to another area of the set” while Roberts complained to the ABC executive., however, can clear up the situation. The man who’s speaking to Strahan and Roberts in the photos of the publication is NOT a producer of the show. The person picture in the magazine is ESPN reporter Tom Rinaldi, who was simply chatting with the co-hosts following his segment.
In fact, an impeccable source tells that the Enquirer was told that the man in the photos was Rinaldi, and “yet they chose to make up the story.” Our rock-solid insider adds, “The only disagreement on set was over who was going to win the Super Bowl. Everyone at ‘GMA,’ is thrilled to have Michael on the show full-time. He’s a fantastic addition to the team.”
Gossip Cop’s insider continues, “These photos are the same images shopped around to various news outlets, which everyone else declined to publish because the story is bogus and show nothing of the sort.” Our trustworthy source adds, “This is fake news being sold by someone who has no way of knowing what was being said because they weren’t even in the studio.” In fact, quite to the contrary, Roberts retweeted a photo on Tuesday of her and Strahan hysterically laughing during a segment on the show, with the caption, “@michaelstrahan does make me laugh… he brightens my morning every day! #GoodTimes.”
And finally, Strahan’s former co-host Kelly Ripa gets dragged in towards the end of the publication’s fabricated story. The tabloid claims she’s “having her revenge on Michael” now that he’s “created havoc in the talk show world.” Of course, the “GMA” anchor has done nothing of the sort, and that portion of the article is completely inaccurate as well. Gossip Cop also previously corrected the Enquirer for falsely claiming Strahan was begging Ripa to return to “Live.”
