My Client, an internationally recognized global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-speed equipment for the packaging and bottling industry is looking to employ a
Service Technician (Electrical) for Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Performing day to day maintenance activities
- Conduct equipment audits and overhauls
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Coach customers on operational and maintenance activities
- Ability to fault find in a logical and professional manner
- Attend to breakdowns telephonically and physically
- Willingness to work overtime and nightshift
- Extensive travel both local, Africa and international
Qualifications and Experience:
- N6 | National Diploma | Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Service Technician role within the beverage industry
- Knowledge of highspeed bottling and labelling machines
- Knowledge of automation (Siemens, Allen Bradley), motion control (B&R, Danfoss, SEW)
- Strong Technical knowledge of FMCG/machine packaging
- Must have knowledge of the OHSA
- Supervisory experience will be an advantage
