My Client, A leading FMCG concern, based in Centurion is looking to employ an Agronomist.

Role Intention:

Growing with the company, from grassroots up.
Becoming a pioneering microbial specialist in the Agricultural sector and thereby making a real difference to the future of farming.
Healthy commissions and incentive bonuses can be expected down the road. Right now the Company is a little in the dark regarding the volumes of sales that are possible but the successful candidate’s influence will help them to clarify their targets going forward.
The client's stated purpose is “to enrich peoples’ lives by creating and sharing abundance, based on the pillars of love, integrity and faith in God.” They don’t just say it – they live it. The successful candidate would definitely find their life enriched – and not only financially.

Role Responsibilities:

Reach out to network of farmers, present products, solicit trials
Encourage agents and farmers to buy products.
The candidate must have a passion and eagerness to promote products that are good for the environment.
Managing field trials
Gather, compile, analyze, interpret results and provide progress reports
Making recommendations to farmers to help achieve efficient crop production
Soil sampling and analysis
Conduct educational workshops
Crop budgeting and planning
Developing protocols for product usage
Crop rotation planning recommendations.
Remain updated with new agricultural techniques, trends and practices.
The candidate will be measured on sales of products.
