My Client a Mining Equipment Manufacturer based in Midrand is looking to employ 2 X Design Draughtsman.
Role Overview:
Position primarily covers modelling and detailing of process equipment. Most of our equipment is parametrically driven through Excel design sheets.
Role Responsibilities:
Machine modelling and detailing – 60%
Spares drawings for existing equipment – 30%
Plant modeling (includes layouts in ACAD and/or Inventor) and detailing – 10%
Plate work
Tanks and associated internals
Piping layouts and detail
Steel structures and detailing
Grating, Access Stairs and Hand Railing
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
Process Flow Diagrams
Civil layouts
Wiring Diagrams
Occasional R&D modeling and detailing
Key Requirements:
A passion for design and draughting
Passion of work in preparation and presentation
Strong eye for detail
Ability to work on your own
Role Requirements:
1 to 3 years’ experience, and a skill focus in Autodesk Inventor (Essential – makes up 95% of function) and Microsoft Excel
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
